Home is where the books are.

And I wanted to share a little bit of home with you. Patients and students regularly ask for books or reference sources on everything from an intro to Chinese medicine, to food therapy, to emotional healing, to nerd level academics.

As both a clinician and an educator, I need books that are not only well-researched but highly practical.

This is a curated list with Amazon links to books that range from life changing to critical reading. There are dozens more I could add to this list - but this is a good start.

I’ve tried to break them down into 8 basic categories (scroll down or click on the link below to jump to that section):

The three books on the right are my current favorite obsessions. The Andrews and Fauntleroy books have deep value for both practitioners, patients, and the simply curious. The Bisio book is in the weeds regarding seasonal living - but I wish I had this book when I was starting my career.

Happy Reading!
